Mr. Drouin is currently counsel at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, a major law firm in Canada. Until recently and since 1999, he was chairman of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), which oversees the reliability of the bulk power system in North America.Mr. Drouin was the Chairman and CEO of Hydro-Québec from 1988 to 1996 and is the past Chairman of Stelco Inc. and Abitibi Consolidated He currently sits on the board of American Superconductor Corporation (Boston), BAA (British Airport Authority) Gesca Ltée (French newspapers) Stonebridge Financial and President’s Choice Financial. He is the former Chair of the Board of Trustees of l’Université Laval.

Mr. Drouin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Montreal and his law degree from l’Université Laval in Québec City. He is a Companion of the Order of Canada and an Officer of l’Ordre national du Québec. In 1993, he was awarded an honorary degree from the Université Lumière in Lyon, France. He is a Fellow and Governor of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and an Honorary Consul for Great Britain in Québec.

Richard Drouin, was presented with the prestigious Canadian Energy Person of the Year 2002 award that recognizes and pays tribute to leaders of the Canadian energy industry who have made significant contributions at both the national and international level.

Jacob A. Roiz was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of CEATI International in January, 2001. He received his engineering Diploma and M.Sc. in electrical engineering in 1968. Thereafter he has held supervisory and managerial positions in the electrical engineering fields of research, manufacturing and consulting. In 1982 he became Program Manager with the Canadian Electrical Association and since 1991 has been a Director of Distribution & Customer Technologies, subsequently Managing Director of Technology Solutions.

Mr. Roiz sits on numerous National and International Committees.
