Generation Programs
CEATI International’s collaborative programs cover technical issues relevant to the evolving electricity business, and feature Interest Groups in a variety of sector-specific topics. New Interest Groups are developed in accordance with changes in industry needs and strategies, resulting in a flexible, dynamic user driven program structured to address the specific challenges of its participants. CEATI International maintains the following Interest Groups in the Electrical Generation Area:
- Thermal Generation Interest Group (TGIG)
- Dam Safety Interest Group (DSIG)
- Hydraulic Plant Life Interest Group (HPLIG)
- Water Management Interest Group (WMIG)
- Strategic Options for Sustainable Power Generation Interest Group (SOIG)
- Infrastructure Protection & Security Interest Group (IPSIG)
In addition, CEATI also manages focused tasks forces, created by interest groups based on specific areas of interest
- Penstock Task Force (under HPLIG and DSIG)
- Asset Management Task Force (under HPLIG)
