Electric Vehicle (EV) Guidelines
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Deployment Guidelines
|
CEATI International is developing a national set of charging infrastructure guidelines and needs your help! At this time, CEATI is challenging all electric utilities to provide detailed comments and feedback on the currently available set of “Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Deployment Guidelines” developed for British Columbia. This document was created by the Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation and produced with the support of British Columbia Hydro and Power Corporation (BC Hydro) and Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). These guidelines provide an excellent reference for utilities facing the challenges of creating a comprehensive plan for the emerging electrical vehicle market. Over the next six months, CEATI would like to get your feedback on the current set of guidelines as well as hear about any specific needs you may have in your province or territory. Each utility will be responsible for collecting comments from all relevant parties within their own province or territory. CEATI will then synthesize these comments into a national set of guidelines. Interested utilities are invited to contact David Lapointe at CEATI International if they wish to access the modifiable document. While the immediate goal of this challenge is to create a national set of guidelines for Canada, CEATI encourages all interested US and International utilities to provide feedback. In addition to the value your comments bring to the overall completeness of this document, there may be an opportunity to adapt these guidelines to other jurisdictions outside of Canada in the near future.
