Participation in Interest Groups is open to:

  • Utilities
  • Independent Power Producers
  • Laboratories
  • Government
  • Universities

Interest Group Participation is structured to encourage cooperation by a maximum number of interested parties, subject to inclusion/exclusion criteria established by Participants.

The annual fee for each interest group provides a participant with the following privileges:
  • Services and expertise of highly experienced Technology Coordinators
  • Technology Watch program
  • Focused networking with other high-level utility specialists
  • Opportunities to select and co-sponsor projects that provide high return on investment to their organization.
  • Opportunities to introduce their company's technological concerns as possible topics for research projects.
  • Opportunities to table projects being conducted within their utility in order to solicit both technical and financial support.
  • Ownership of project deliverables according to the funding split
  • Active involvement in strategic decision-making
  • 2-3 face to face meetings per year are facilitated by a Technology Coordinator
  • 3-5 conference calls per year are managed by a Technology Coordinator
  • Access to 1,300 published reports worth over $350M at a preferential price
  • Access to Participants only website and discussion board
  • Up to two representatives per Interest group
