Title
Case Control Study of Childhood Leukaemia and Exposure to Electric and Magnetic Fields
Abstract
Twenty years of research have not resolved the uncertainty relating to the carcinogenicity of exposures to electric and magnetic fields (EMF). To date, the question of whether EMF causes cancer in humans remains unanswered amid significant scientific and political controversy. The study described in this report was designed to advance the understanding of the relationship between the childhood leukaemia risk and exposure to EMF by improved methods of exposure assessment and by overcoming some of the deficiencies of earlier studies.
