The objective of a commissioning program is to ensure that all of the equipment can be operated safely and reliably as an integrated assembly, as required by the design specifications and performance requirements; this is achieved by performing a series of carefully planned tests and assessing the results.
This Commissioning Guide assists commissioning staff, plant owners, and contractors in developing and resourcing a plan for the orderly and sequential testing of all of the major station equipment at the end of the construction (or refurbishment) phase of work.
