Project: T183700 #33120

The objective of this project is to prepare a state of the art report for understanding how the various galloping control devices that are currently available work. The study will evaluate each commercially available product with respect to how it controls the galloping motion, its effective field performance in controlling galloping, supported by any published data available as open literature or through questionnaire/survey or direct contact with utilities who are using these devices. The study should present lessons learned, knowledge gaps and how these gaps can be closed.
